On June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the 1973 landmark Supreme Court decision that ruled a woman's right to abortion is a fundamental right.
That's why we are launching the Rise Up 5K with ALL PROCEEDS being directly donated to the following charity organizations, which are on the front lines of fighting for protective legislation and providing medical for those in need:
Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc.
The Center for Reproductive Rights
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
In 2017, the Rise UP 5K raised over $100K for these charity organizations (along with 4 other civil liberties organizations). The RISE UP 5K can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, or on the treadmill.
